AET Zone The AppEdTech Virtual Community Download Center |
To access the AET Zone Virtual Community you need a username and a password and the AET Zone browser.
If you are a student in the Instructional Technology/Computers program at Appalachian State University or a member of one of the classes that are using AET Zone but don't have a username and a password email Dick Riedl (riedlre@appstate.edu) to get your username and password. Please include which class/program/cohort you are in and who your current instructor is in the message.
To use the AET Zone Browser you should have a connection to the Internet and a computer that meets or exceeds the minimum requirements listed below (To use AET Zone with a Macintosh you need to have a Windows emulator or an Intel Mac using Boot Camp or Parallels running Windows).
Minimum System Requirements:
Pentium CPU 300mhz or equivalent
64MB RAM
Microsoft Windows (95, 98, Me, NT4, 2000, XP or Vista)
DirectX 7.0
However, for the best possible experience in AET Zone the following minimum is recommended:
Pentium IV CPU 800mhz or equivalent
128MB RAM
Microsoft Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP or Vista
DirectX 8.1 or later
Windows Media Player 6.4 or later
3D accelerated video card with at least 64MB and the latest drivers
Click the link below to download the AET Zone Browser (5.5 MB).
When downloading the AET Zone Browser, do not change the name of the download file. Once downloaded, run the aetzone.exe file to install.
